1. It starts with consent
Pathmetrics is GDPR-compliant by default. We only begin tracking after a visitor accepts analytics cookies through your existing cookie banner. We automatically detect and integrate with popular solutions like Cookiebot, Complianz, CookieYes, and others — no manual setup required.
2. Visitor data is collected
Once consent is given, Pathmetrics begins tracking key data for each visitor:
Traffic source & channel
Where did they come from? (e.g. Google Ads, Instagram, organic search, direct)
Pages visited & time spent
We log every page the visitor views and how long they spend on each one.
Repeat visits over time
We link visits from the same person (anonymously) even if they leave and come back days later.
3. Form submission = conversion
When a user completes a form on your site — using Gravity Forms, WPForms, Contact Form 7, Jetpack Forms, or Ninja Forms — we automatically record it as a conversion event. This marks the end of the tracked journey.
You can track multiple forms and unlimited conversions, and we tie each one back to the full sequence of steps that led to it.
4. Path is visualized instantly
All the steps are displayed in a clear visual timeline — no complex dashboards to build or filters to configure. You’ll see:
Channel 1 → Page A → 51s
+2 days → Channel 2 → Page B → 36s
+6 days → Direct → Page C → Form submitted

This visual path helps you understand not just what converted, but how and when it happened.
5. Insights for smarter decisions
By mapping the full customer journey, Pathmetrics helps you:
Attribute revenue to the actual contributing channels
Spot valuable but low-volume pages or campaigns
Understand the true time to conversion
Align marketing budgets to what’s really working
No black-box data. No last-click bias. Just clear, connected insights.
